Our journey began with a simple act of community kindness. Responding to a neighbor's request for help mowing their lawn during their move, the seeds of 419 Landscape were sown. What started as a helpful gesture evolved into something more profound as neighbors sought assistance in transforming their outdoor spaces.
In 2020, a year that compelled us all to spend more time at home, many discovered that their living spaces didn't reflect the comfort and beauty they desired. As people decided to invest in their homes, they needed guidance on where and how to start. Recognizing this need and with insight and experience in landscaping, our owner, Collin Jelinger, found himself taking the next step with them.
Before officially founding 419 Landscape Collin pondered the growing landscaping opportunities and sought guidance through prayer. He was directed to Philippians 2:13 that states it is God who works within us to fulfill His good purpose. This became the cornerstone of 419 Landscape; this work was more than a business venture – it was a calling to help others bring their visions to life.
At 419 Landscape, we understand the transformative power of outdoor spaces, and we are here to partner with you on your journey to create a home that truly reflects your vision and desires.
At 419 Landscape, our mission is to elevate outdoor experiences by delivering top-notch residential and commercial landscaping, lawn care, snow removal, and fencing solutions. As a family-owned business founded in 2020, we are committed to exceeding your goals and contributing to the betterment of Toledo and Northwest Ohio. We actively support the community and local businesses, aligning our efforts with their aspirations. Our core values of integrity, excellence, friendly service, and environmental stewardship guide every project. We build trusting relationships by listening closely to clients, communicating clearly, and following through on our promises.
Raised in Toledo, Ohio, Collin attended Ottawa Hills High School before pursuing his passion for mechanics at Owens Community College, where he graduated from the John Deere Diesel Technology Program. After a stint in Dallas, where he put himself through EMT School, he returned home with a newfound appreciation for Toledo and its community. In his downtime, he enjoys boating, carpentry, train-watching, reading, and sharing a good “dad joke” or pun without hesitation.
